I'm feeling like there's mucus stuck in my throat. It seems to get better when I eat something hot or drink hot water. I saw a GP and got some Coldact and an acidity tablet, but I'm not understanding why it keeps coming back. Any ideas on what could be going on?

I've been having this throat and neck pain for about four months now. It's just continuous and really starting to get to me. My nose has an S-shaped deviated septum but the overall shape looks fine do I have any non-surgical options? If I do go for surgery, will it alter my nose shape or leave visible scars? I'm really worried about how it might look afterward.
