I'm having asthma since I was a child, and for the past three days, I've been struggling to breathe properly. I've been using my Asthalin inhaler, but today I tried some Asthalin syrup and my breathlessness got worse. Now my hands are shaking, and my heart is racing. What should I do?

I'm really anxious about my mom's recent chest pain. The doctor suggested a CT scan, and the report mentions something about alveolo fibrotic opacity in her left upper lobe and the superior segment of her right lower lobe. It also noted no pleural effusion thickening. Could you explain what all this means? I'm really worried about her.

Probable differential diagnosis include sarcoidosis,Silicosis,Langerhans cell histiocytosis, and pneumoconioses.etc , pulmonologist opinion is advised for further management.

I'm going to have a pleural tapping procedure soon and I heard about Tt injections related to it. Should I get a tetanus shot before the procedure? Are there any specific precautions I should be aware of before going through with pleural effusion? I'm feeling a bit anxious and want to make sure I'm fully prepared.

Yes ,tt injection can be taken before pleural tap. Any history pf bleeding disorders, allergies, any history of asthma, any current medications on warfarin, heparin .Alsp PT and INR should be checked before pleural tap.

I'm 23 and have had issues with bronchitis in the past. I used to rely on an Asthaline inhaler whenever I felt breathless. A few months ago, I went to a different doctor who gave me Formonide 200, and I found it worked way better than Asthaline. I haven't needed Asthaline since I started using Formonide, but yesterday I needed it again and it didn't give me long-term relief. I'm curious about why Asthaline isn't as effective anymore and if I should stick with Formonide or consider something else. What do you think?

It seems that your bronchitis symptoms may have worsened or changed over time. While **Formonide 200** (a steroid inhaler) may provide better long-term relief, the **Asthaline inhaler** (a bronchodilator) is used for immediate symptom relief but may not provide sustained effects. I recommend discussing your symptoms with your doctor, as a long-term management plan with the appropriate medication may be needed.
