I'm having an issue where my ear gets blocked every time I turn on the AC at night. I'm thinking about using cotton plugs to prevent this blockage temporarily. What could be causing this problem and is using cotton plugs a good idea? Would love some advice on how to deal with this.

I've been noticing a hissing sound in my ears whenever I do the Valsalva maneuver. It's starting to worry me, and I'm not sure if it's normal or if I should be concerned about something more serious. Could it be related to ear pressure, or do you think there's something else going on that I should get checked out?

See a specialist for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment.

I'm dealing with this persistent white, thick mucus in my throat, and I need to clear it often, but I don't have a runny nose. Its kinda annoying, and on top of that, I have some gastric issues. Could these things be connected, or what might be going on? It's been worrying me a bit.

The persistent white thick mucus in your throat, accompanied by the need to clear your throat frequently, and gastric issues, may indicate gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where stomach acid flows up into the throat, causing irritation and mucus production, so consider consulting a gastroenterologist or ENT specialist to discuss treatment options, such as antacids, proton pump inhibitors, or lifestyle changes like dietary modifications and elevated head positioning during sleep.

I'm really worried about my recent medical reports that mention something called pleomorphic adenoma. I'm unsure which kind of doctor I should see about this. Do you think surgery is necessary, and which specialist is best for handling this situation?

For plemorphic adenoma, you should consult an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist or an Otolaryngologist. Surgery is often recommended for plemorphic adenoma to remove the tumor and prevent any complications. The specialist will assess your specific case and recommend the appropriate treatment plan, which may include surgery to remove the tumor.
