I'm having trouble breathing for the last couple of days. My chest just feels really heavy, and I'm needing to take deeper breaths than usual. Weirdly, my nose isn't blocked, and there isn't any pain anywhereeverything else seems normal. Can you help me figure out what's going on and how I can fix it?

View allI've been dealing with bronchitis for a few months now, and before that, I was coughing up some thick phlegm. My doctor gave me some meds, but I'm kind of worried and thinking about getting a lung function test just to be safe. Can you suggest any tests that would check lung capacity and function? What are the main tests I should consider for this? Would really appreciate your guidance.

I'm really concerned because every morning I wake up coughing up this thick, sticky phlegm that's jelly-like. It varies in color, sometimes clear, other times white or grey. What could be causing this, and should I be worried?
This type of mucoid phlegm is typical of allergic bronchitis. Since you have gastritis symptoms ,GERD also could be a cause. Next Steps Get an X-ray done. See a pulmonologist first. you will need lifestyle changes and treatment for gerd along with treatment for allergy after evaluation
