I'm just wondering if I should continue taking the SIBOFix tablets since Ive already finished a 3-day course? I noticed that there are some available for another 3 days. Also, I'm planning to go to my native place for 3 days soon. Could you let me know if an appointment can be scheduled on the morning of the 17th before I leave?

I've been dealing with this internal cold and sore throat for a couple of months now, and on top of that, I've got gas problems that are causing constipation. It feels like my belly is constantly filled with gas, and it's really making life hard for me. I've tried some medicines like some kind of pauladom and lanol, and they helped for a while with the gas. When higher antibiotics are taken they kill the normal flora of the gut, and cause irregular bowel movements. They also cause gastritis. For this you will have to take a course of probiotics. Also other causes for irregular bowel movements and gastritis like malabsorption syndromes, metabolic disorders, crohns disease, ulcerative colitis will have to be looked at. So kindly consult a nearby general surgeon for your abdomen problems and ENT specialist for cold and sore throat. You might be started on proton pump inhibitors and probiotics for the same.
