I'm a little concerned because my HbA1c is at 7.2. I'm not sure if I should start on insulin or take tablets, or is it possible to lower it through diet and exercise? What would be the best approach here?

View allI'm really worried about my mom's health. She's been dealing with diabetic hyperglycemia for about 15 years now, and things seem to have gotten more complicated. Just recently, she had pus in her left kidney because of a urinary infection related to her diabetes. I'm really anxious about whether the treatment she's getting is the right fit for her. What should we be looking out for, and is there anything else we should consider?

I'm struggling to lose weight, and I think it's because of my hypothyroidism. On top of that, I've noticed some swelling in my hands. I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Could there be a connection or something else I should be aware of?
