I'm pretty worried because during sex I accidentally cut my frenulum and it bled quite a bit. The bleeding stopped after a while, but it's been a couple of days now, and I feel pain when my penis gets hard. It's strange because the pain comes and goes throughout the day, but there's none when I pee or otherwise. I read somewhere that I shouldn't panic and it might heal on its own in a few weeks, but I'd really like to know if there's any medication or treatment I could use to recover faster. Any advice would be really helpful.

Based on your description, it sounds like you have experienced a frenulum tear. To help with the pain and promote healing, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen. I recommend taking ibuprofen 400mg every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. Additionally, applying an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin to the affected area twice a day can help prevent infection and aid in healing. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry. In case of persistent or worsening symptoms, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.

I've been diagnosed with bilateral varicocele grade 1 on the right side and grade 2 on the left. Lately, I've noticed my testicles shrinking, along with weaker erections and lower sex drive. I've tried ayurvedic and homeopathic treatments, but I'm not sure if they're helping. What's the best way to treat this? Also, could surgery lead to fertility problems down the line?

For a bilateral varicocele with associated testicular shrinkage, weaker erections, and lower sex drive, the best course of action is to consult a urologist or reproductive endocrinologist for a proper evaluation and treatment plan. While surgery is the most common and effective treatment, other options like embolization or lifestyle changes might be considered. Surgery, while generally safe, may have a small risk of impacting fertility, but this is often manageable

For a bilateral grade 1 varicocele causing pain and discomfort, especially when the left testicle lies down, microscopic inguinal or subinguinal varicocelectomy is generally considered the best option. This procedure minimizes the risk of complications, reduces pain, and offers a faster recovery time compared to other approaches
