I'm really concerned about asthma and I'm wondering if a CT scan is actually helpful in diagnosing it early. Is there a better way to figure out if someone has asthma?

View allI've been experiencing a dry cough for a couple of weeks now and just recently started noticing thick blood streaks in my sputum when I clear my throat in the morning. I'm a bit worried since I've been smoking for about three years, although I stopped when this started happening. Should I be concerned about this?

I've been experiencing some random chest pain since I got over COVID back in May. It usually hits around the ribs or near my heart. I've had an ECG and echo, and even a stress echo, and everything came back fine. But now, with the colder weather, I feel this mild pain in my chest when I cough or do om pranayam, mainly in the heart area. My cardiologist thinks it's muscular, but I'm wondering if it could be something lung-related instead. Are there any tests I should consider to figure out if it's a lung issue or really just muscular?
take pantop 40 mg 3 days and do chest x ray
