I'm really concerned about high uric acid levels, and I'm curious if there's a permanent way to manage or even cure it. My friend's level is around 8, and I'm wondering what kind of diet changes might help. Also, is there any effective treatment in alternative medicine for this?

View allI'm really struggling with some health issues and could use some advice. Every time I get a cold or cough, I end up having trouble breathing, and it also triggers this back pain. Doing everyday things like washing clothes or standing for a while makes my back ache even more. When I have a cough, I can actually hear strange sounds and feel vibrations with my breath, which is worrying. I feel horribly sick, like my whole body is in pain, even when I'm just doing normal activities. Walking to work leaves my legs aching, and if I try something like dancing, my arms hurt like crazy. I'm just wondering what could be going on?

I'm really concerned because every morning when I wake up, my ribs hurt, and sometimes it gets worse with each breath. It feels really unbearable, and I'm just not sure what to do since obviously, I can't stop breathing. What could be causing this, and how can I find relief?
This type of pain in the ribs that worsens with breathing could be due to inflammation of the muscles between the ribs, a condition known as costochondritis. To help alleviate the pain and inflammation, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen (e.g. Advil) or naproxen (e.g. Aleve) at the recommended dosage. Additionally, applying a warm compress to the area and practicing deep breathing exercises may also provide some relief. If the pain persists or worsens, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and management.

I'm a 40-year-old guy dealing with joint pain, stiffness, and it's making it hard for me to get around. The doctor prescribed dart tablets, but they leave me feeling really anxious, agitated, and nauseous. Any ideas on other meds I could try that might not have these side effects?
Seems like you are experiencing side effects from the dart tablet. An alternative medicine you can try for joint pain is Celebrex (Celecoxib) 200mg once daily. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that can help relieve pain and inflammation in the joints. Make sure to take it with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset.
