I'm really concerned about my lymphocytes. They've jumped from 14 to 44 in just a month. I don't have any lumps or red patches, but I'm getting infections and bleeding easily. My vitamin D is super low too, just at 5. Should I be worried about these increasing lymphocyte levels? What's causing it?

TB-PCR Test and Menstrual Blood Sample Collection
The TB-PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test can detect the genetic material of the tuberculosis bacteria. While menstrual blood can be used for the test, it's not the only option.
Alternative Sample Options:
- Sputum: A more common sample type for TB testing.
- Blood: A venous blood sample can be used.
- Tissue or fluid: From the affected area, if applicable.
Menstrual Blood Sample Collection (if required):
- Use a sterile container provided by the laboratory or healthcare provider.
- Collect the menstrual blood sample during the heaviest flow day.
- Fill the container as instructed by the healthcare provider.
- Label the container with your name, date, and time of collection.
- Store the sample in a refrigerator (if instructed) and transport it to the laboratory as soon as possible.
It's essential to follow the specific instructions provided by your healthcare provider or laboratory for sample collection and handling.

View allI've been having some pretty bad allergy symptoms lately, and while they seemed to calm down after a few days, I'm worried because my blood work showed high levels of mpv at 13.2, pdw at 19, and plcr at 51. Plus, these red boils are popping up all over my body and then disappearing. It's really unsettling. Can you help me figure out what's going on?

I'm 80 and recently started having chest pain, so I went to the hospital. The doctor had me take a blood test, and it turns out I have polycythemia vera. They've been taking my blood twice a week to keep it thin, but now I'm feeling really exhausted, and it's hard to manage. Can you suggest what I should do?

My PT level is 19.3 and I'm a bit worried is this something serious that needs attention or could it improve as I get older? Also, would it be safe to go through surgery with levels this high?
A PT of 19.3 is high and could delay surgery. It may point to liver issues or vitamin K deficiency. Needs further evaluation and correction before any operation.
