I'm really concerned because I've been dealing with a persistent cough and my asthma isn't getting any better. Do you think it's safe for me to take L hist mont along with amoxicillin 500? I'm worried about how these might interact.

If you have asthma and are experiencing a cough, it's important to ensure that your asthma is well-managed. L-Hist-Mont (a combination of antihistamine and montelukast) can help with allergic symptoms and asthma, while amoxicillin is used for bacterial infections. If your cough is due to an infection, the amoxicillin may be helpful, but its best to consult your doctor to confirm the cause and ensure the medications are appropriate for your condition.

View allI've been through quite a journey with TB since 2016, dealing with extra pulmonary TB and after a year of treatment and some surgery for fluid drainage, I thought I was in the clear. In 2019, even though I had some lymph node swelling, the tests came back negative, and my doctor said I didn't need further medication. But now, with my fianc being diagnosed with pulmonary TB last December, I'm freaking out a bit. Given my history and the close contact, should I be concerned about getting TB again?

I'm really worried about my dad. He's been having fever, weakness, and a cough, and we're concerned because his CRP levels are pretty high at 48 mg, and his hemoglobin is really low, just 5.4 mg. The local doctor mentioned it's a chest infection and recommended antibiotics along with glucose. I'm not sure how serious this might be or if there might be other treatment options we should consider. Can you help us understand what might be going on and what steps we should take next?
