I'm really concerned because I've had tonsillitis for three weeks now and it just won't go away. I've been on antibiotics for ten days but haven't seen any improvement. Could this be a bacterial or viral infection? Also, I can't help but worry if this could be a sign of early HIV ARS. I don't have any other symptoms, just swollen tonsils with white spots. What could be going on?

no need to worry it's not related HIV, visit ENT doctor for evaluation and appropriate treatment.

Adenoids can shrink with meds—surgery only if symptoms persist after 3–6 months of treatment.

Will sinus surgery change the shape of my nose or make it look wider and if so how long does that last Is there anything they can do during the procedure to keep my nose looking thinner
Turbinoplasty doesn’t significantly alter nose width;surgeons preserve nasal structure and swelling subsides in weeks–months to maintain a natural shape.

My sister-in-law has been hearing a hissing sound in quiet settings. She got an audiology test and a CT venogram of the neck and skull base done results are attached. Just wondering if this might need surgery or if it can be treated with meds. What do you think?
If no vascular cause is found, it may be tinnitus; surgery is rarely needed—meds or sound therapy may help.
