I'm really concerned because my recent tests showed some worrying results. My ultrasound pointed to a fatty liver, and my blood work showed that my levels are a bit off: SGOT is 138, SGPT is 245, GGT is 138, and alkaline phosphatase is 117. Plus, my globulin level is at 3.5. What could be causing these issues?

My dad is 70 and has gallstones plus bile duct stones seen on MRI and CT He also has jaundice with high bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase The report says his CBD is dilated to 20mm with two stones - one near the ampulla and another 17mm stone in the distal CBD Can he just get an ERCP to remove the bile duct stones or does his gallbladder need to come out too What determines whether gallbladder removal is necessary in cases like this
