I'm really curious about what my ideal resting heart rate should be. I'm overweight and just started working out. Will my resting heart rate improve as I lose weight? What types of exercises would you recommend to make sure I don't stress my heart too much while trying to get to a healthier resting heart rate?

I'm really concerned about the medication I've been on for the past 7 years, Amodep AT. My doctor mentioned it might have some side effects and suggested switching to TelemiKind 40. I'm a bit worried and want to know if it's safe to make this change. Can you help me understand if there are any risks or things I should watch out for with TelemiKind 40?

I'm really concerned about my heart, as I've had a PTCA stent placed to my right coronary artery and right internal artery. But lately, I've been experiencing some wet palpitations now and again. I have Type 2 diabetes and hypertension and I'm 56 years old. Should I be worried about these palpitations, or is this somewhat normal for someone in my situation? What should I do about it?

I'm a bit worried because my LDL cholesterol level is 187, but all my other tests like ECG, 2D echo, blood, and urine have come back normal. What steps should I take to bring my LDL down?

To lower your LDL cholesterol level of 187, you can start by making lifestyle changes such as following a healthy diet and engaging in regular exercise. Additionally, you can consider taking medication to help lower your LDL cholesterol. One commonly prescribed medication for this purpose is Atorvastatin, which is taken at a starting dose of 10-20 mg once daily. It is important to consult with your healthcare provider to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for your specific situation.
