I'm really curious to know if tinnitus can be completely treated with medication or if it's something that's going to be a lifelong issue?

View allI'm really concerned because I've had this sore throat for about two months now. It's red at the back and hurts a bit when I swallow. I've seen a couple of doctors alreadyfirst, I had a throat culture which was negative, then the ENT specialist prescribed calithromycin or cliff tablets, plus a gastric tablet and painkiller, but that didnt help at all. At RML hospital, they suggested amoxicillin for 6 days and sefixime for 5 days, still no relief. I read somewhere that it might be post-nasal drip and was advised to try an anti-allergy tablet and a steroid nasal spray. Can you suggest any specific nasal sprays or antiallergy tablets that might help?
Take anti-allergic tab and steroid nasal spray for 3weeks...it seems it's due to post nasal drip...

I'm experiencing pain on the right side of my jaw near my ear, and I already went to see a dentist. He told me theres nothing wrong with my teeth, but the pain hasn't gone away. I'm a bit worried about what might be causing this discomfort. Could it be something other than a dental issue? What should I do next?
The pain you are experiencing near your ear and jaw could be due to temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ). You can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen (Advil) 400mg every 4-6 hours as needed for pain relief. Additionally, applying a warm compress to the area and doing gentle jaw exercises may help alleviate the discomfort. If the pain persists, you may need to see a specialist for further evaluation and management.

my 6-month-old baby has tongue tie and I'm not sure if we should do the release surgery now or wait a bit longer is general anesthesia safe for such a small baby what are the risks both short and long term if we go ahead with the procedure
It's understandable to be concerned about tongue-tie release surgery for your 6-month-old baby. While the procedure is generally safe, especially for infants, it's crucial to weigh the potential benefits and risks with your pediatrician or a specialist like an ENT or pediatric dentist. General anesthesia is also safe for infants, but it's a factor to consider in the overall decision
