I'm really struggling with a shiny look on my skin and I'd love to find a way to get rid of it for good without having to deal with any side effects. Do you know of any medications or treatments that might help with this?

To reduce skin shine permanently, consider a combination of lifestyle changes, skincare routines, and medical treatments. Here's a comprehensive approach:
Lifestyle Changes
- Maintain a healthy diet: Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Avoid processed and oily foods.
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to flush out toxins and keep your skin healthy.
- Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help reduce stress and improve overall skin health.
- Get enough sleep: Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night to help regulate hormones and reduce stress.
Skincare Routine
- Cleanse your skin: Wash your face twice a day with a gentle, oil-free cleanser.
- Exfoliate regularly: Exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.
- Use a toner: Apply a toner to help balance your skin's pH and reduce oil production.
- Apply a moisturizer: Use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated without clogging pores.

I'm dealing with a groin infection thats really been bothering me. Ive seen two different dermatologists so far. The first one thought it was ringworm and jock itch and gave me meds like Terbinafine and some others to take for a couple of months. It got better but came back as soon as I stopped the meds. Then, I went to another doctor, who said it was a fungal infection and switched up the medications for me. Its still not completely gone. On top of that, the treatment has darkened my skin around the area, which looks really bad since my natural skin tone is quite fair. I'm stuck and worried. What should I do to properly get rid of this infection and also handle the skin darkening?
