I'm really worried about the H1N1 flu. Can you tell me which hospital is the best for treating swine flu or influenza? I'm just trying to figure out where I should go if I or a family member needs help.

View allI'm really worried about how long HIV can live outside the body. Like, if someone with HIV accidentally gets a drop of blood on a chair or table, is it still dangerous if I touch that same spot after 30 minutes? Can the virus still be active?
HIV survives outside the body for a short period: 15-30 minutes on a dry surface, up to 72 hours in a moist environment, but risk of transmission through casual contact is extremely low, and standard household cleaning and disinfection kill HIV.

I'm really worried because I had protected sex a week ago, but after four days, I started feeling unwell with fever and loose motions. Now I'm also experiencing night sweats. I ended up in the hospital, and all my tests came back fine, but I read somewhere that these can be initial symptoms of HIV. This really has me scared. Could you help me understand if I should be concerned about HIV or if there's something else going on?
It's important not to jump to conclusions without proper testing and evaluation. The symptoms you mentioned can be caused by various conditions and may not necessarily indicate HIV infection. If you are worried about HIV, the best course of action would be to get tested for HIV at a healthcare facility. In the meantime, if you are experiencing fever and loose motions, you can take over-the-counter medications like Paracetamol for fever (500mg to 1000mg every 4-6 hours as needed) and Loperamide for loose motions (2mg after the first loose stool, then 1mg after each subsequent loose stool, but do not exceed 16mg in a day) to help manage your symptoms. Make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest.

I'm really worried because I had protected sex with a prostitute and during it, I noticed blood on the condom and my stomach. She mentioned she was on her period, but now I'm anxious about whether there's anything else I should be concerned about. This happened about 18 hours ago. Could you please help me understand if there's a risk for anything or anything I should do now?
Immediately get yourself tested and visit Physician for appropriate management
