I'm really worried about my 3-year-old son. He recently had a BERA test, and the results showed normal waves in his right ear but absent waves in the left. What could this possibly mean? I'm scheduled to see his doctor next week, but the waiting is stressing me out and I'd love to get a second opinion in the meantime. Can you shed some light on this?

I'm about 20 days post-SeptoplastyMMA surgery and I'm wondering if it's okay for me to start wearing a mask. Should I be looking for any specific type of mask or will any mask work?

Schedule an appointment with an: - ENT specialist (Ear, Nose, and Throat) - Gastroenterologist (for potential GERD) Before the appointment, prepare by: - Writing down symptoms and duration - Tracking triggers and relieving factors - Gathering medical history and previous treatments A thorough examination and diagnostic tests (e.g., endoscopy, pH monitoring) will help determine the underlying cause.

My sinuses are killing me and the pain is unbearable, especially when I lie down it feels like someone's smashing my nose with a hammer. My throat hurts too and there's so much pressure building up. I really don't want to go straight to surgery or antibiotics, are there any natural remedies that can help with this?
Sinus pressure occurs when the membranes that line your nasal passages become irritated or inflamed. Mucus may also build up and stop draining, leading to pain and pressure. Causes include colds, allergies and sinus infections. Taking over-the-counter medications and keeping your sinuses moist can help ease discomfort.
