I'm really worried about my brother. He was told he has a positive semen culture for enterococcus faecalis, and now his urologist prescribed two daily injections of mikacin 500 mg for 5 days and a daily tablet of forcan 150. I'm just wondering, is it normal to need so many injections for this type of infection? And is mikacin the right antibiotic for enterococcus faecalis?

I'm just wondering, does masturbation lead to feeling fatigued or weak? Is it actually harmful in any way, and are there any side effects I should be aware of? I'm a bit concerned and would love some clarity.

Masturbation is a natural and normal activity that typically doesn't cause fatigue or weakness unless done excessively. In moderation, its not harmful and doesnt have significant side effects. However, if it becomes compulsive or interferes with daily life, it may be a sign of underlying issues that need attention.

I had varicocele surgery about 25 days ago but there's still swelling in my scrotum how long does it usually take for the swelling to go away completely? Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Swelling after varicocele surgery is common and usually subsides within 2-4 weeks. If you're still experiencing swelling at 25 days, it's within the expected timeframe, but it's always best to consult your doctor for reassurance or to address any specific concerns

I'm dealing with a grade 2 varicocele and I'm really into my gym workouts. Is it okay for me to continue going to the gym? Also, are there any specific things I need to watch out for or avoid while exercising? On top of that, are there any medications or treatments I should consider to help reverse or manage this?

With Varicocele Grade 2, you can still go to the gym, but take precautions to avoid exacerbating the condition: avoid heavy lifting, bending, or straining, wear supportive underwear or a jockstrap, and take regular breaks to rest and elevate your scrotum; however, consult your doctor or a urologist before starting or continuing exercise, as they may recommend specific exercises or restrictions based on your individual condition; regarding medications, Varicocele often requires surgical treatment, but pain relief medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen may be prescribed to manage discomfort, and hormone-regulating medications like clomiphene may be considered in some cases, but only under medical supervision.
