I'm really worried about my dad. Ever since he had an angioplasty about 20 days ago, he's been dealing with a lot of vomiting. It seems like he can't keep any solids down, except for fruits, ragi malt, and some dosas. Should I be concerned, and what might be causing this?

I'm dealing with a stomach upset and heard that Norflox TZ might help. Is taking one dose per day effective? Could you provide any advice or alternatives? It's quite urgent.

Norflox TZ is a combination medication that contains Norfloxacin and Tinidazole. It is commonly used to treat bacterial infections in the stomach and intestines. The usual recommended dosage for Norflox TZ is one tablet twice a day, taken after meals. However, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any medication to ensure it is appropriate for your specific condition.

I'm curious about drinking water and sleeping; does drinking water before taking a nap or going to sleep at night affect digestion? How long should I wait between drinking water and sleeping to avoid any issues?

It is generally fine to sleep after drinking water, both during the day or at night, as long as you don't drink excessive amounts right before lying down. Ideally, it's best to wait 30 minutes to an hour after drinking water before going to bed to avoid discomfort or indigestion. Drinking moderate amounts of water does not typically cause digestive problems, but drinking too much right before sleep can sometimes lead to bloating or frequent urination during the night.
