I'm really worried about my father. He's been diagnosed with severe coronary ectasia and previously, doctors mentioned that a bypass surgery isn't an option for him. I'm wondering if treatments like Ace Inhibitors or the drug Entresto could be effective in his situation? Lately, he's been having more frequent chest pains and feeling a lot of unease. Could you provide some guidance on this?

For the treatment of coronary ectasia, Ace Inhibitors such as Lisinopril can be beneficial in managing symptoms and improving heart function. The recommended dosage of Lisinopril is usually starting at 2.5-5 mg once a day, which can be adjusted by the doctor based on individual response. Entresto, which is a combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan, can also be considered for the treatment of heart failure in patients with reduced ejection fraction. The usual starting dose of Entresto is 4951 mg twice daily, which can be increased to the target maintenance dose of 97103 mg twice daily as tolerated. However, it is important to consult with your father's healthcare provider before starting any new medication or making changes to his current treatment plan. Regular monitoring and follow-up with a healthcare professional are essential in managing coronary ectasia and associated symptoms.

I've been having this pain on the left side of my chest for the past 8 months, since September. I've already done ECG, Echo, TMT, and various blood tests but everything came back normal. The pain comes and goes, but in the last few days, it's been bothering me again. On top of that, I'm experiencing body pain too. What could be causing this? Should I be worried?

It sounds like you have been experiencing left side chest pain for quite some time, despite normal results from various tests. Since the pain has started again recently and you are also experiencing body pain, it may be helpful to try a medication like Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 500mg for pain relief. You can take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed for chest and body pain. However, if the pain persists or worsens, it is important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation.

I've recently found out that I have a heart blockage issue and I'm really worried about what this means for my health. Is there any Ayurvedic treatment that could help with clearing the heart blockage? Im looking for a more natural approach if possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm feeling quite anxious about this whole situation.

Ayurvedic treatments for heart blockage focus on lifestyle modifications, dietary changes, and herbal remedies; consider the following: Triphala, Arjuna, and Amalaki to reduce cholesterol and inflammation; Abana, a polyherbal formulation, to improve cardiac function; Panchakarma therapies, such as snehana and swedana, to detoxify and rejuvenate; and Rasayana Chikitsa, a rejuvenation therapy, to improve overall cardiovascular health; however, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner or cardiologist before starting any treatment, as Ayurvedic remedies may interact with modern medications or worsen underlying conditions.
