I'm really worried about the side effects of surgery for an anal fissure. Homeopathy says it can be cured with just medicines, but I still have this thick skin layer outside my anus from a chronic fissure that's causing trouble. They strongly advise against surgery, but I'm not sure what to do. Is surgery really risky? What are the possible side effects? I'm scared to go through with it but the discomfort is getting hard to handle.

View allI've been having severe pain in my anus and was told it's a fistula and fissure. The pain was so bad that there was blood with my stool for four days, but after some treatment, the pain eased up. Now I'm noticing pus keeps coming out regularly. I'm really confused about whether this can heal with medicine or if surgery is the only option. What would be the best treatment for this?
Fat reduction surgeries like liposuction carry risks like contour irregularities and anesthesia complications; cost varies but non-surgical options like cryolipolysis exist.

my doctor said i need surgery for an anal fistula but i was wondering if homeopathy can help heal it without surgery
Small fistulas without an infection will often close on their own and may take 30–50 days. However, more severe fistulas that drain may cause infection in the surrounding skin and organs. If the drainage leads to sepsis, a doctor will usually recommend surgery to repair the areas of drainage.
