I'm really worried because I've been diagnosed with what they're calling infective etiology Koch's. Is this a really serious condition? Also, is there a treatment available for it?

Koch's disease, commonly known as tuberculosis (TB), is a serious infectious disease, but it is treatable with a course of antibiotics, typically lasting 6-9 months. Early diagnosis and consistent treatment are key to a full recovery, so it's important to follow your doctor's advice closely.

View allI'm really concerned about my dad. He's 77 and has had this persistent cough for a few weeks now. He smoked for 40 years but quit back in 2017. However, he still chews tobacco. Could his history with smoking or his current use of tobacco be causing the cough, or is it something else we should be worried about? What should we do next?

I'm a bit confused about the medication my doctor prescribed. They've asked us to take INH 150, Rcinex 450, and Ethambutol 400. But here's the thing, Rcinex already contains 300mg of isoniazid. Should we be adjusting the dosage or is there something I'm missing here? It's just a bit worrying, and I want to make sure we're doing the right thing.

My husband has been struggling with a dry cough ever since he recovered from COVID two months ago. We went to the doctor and they recommended using a Budamet 400 mg inhaler, but he's still coughing a lot, especially at night. It's really concerning. What could be causing this, and is there anything else we should be doing?
