I'm really worried because I've been using Chymotra for a month now, hoping it would help with my hair fall, but it's only getting worse. More hair is shedding now than before I started using it. Is there something wrong with my treatment, or should I consider stopping the medication? What should I do?

View allI've been dealing with really bad jock itch every summer and monsoon for the past 5 years. It's super annoying, and on top of that, I've noticed that I'm also losing some pubic hair. I'm wondering if there's any connection between this hair loss and maybe a fungal infection or something? I'm already using clotrimazole to try and handle the itch. Could that be linked somehow?
In addition to clotrimazole, you can also try using Terbinafine cream (brand name Lamisil) twice a day for 2-4 weeks to treat the fungal infection effectively. Make sure to keep the affected area clean and dry, and wear loose-fitting clothing to prevent further irritation.
