I'm really worried because my husband, who's 33 years old, just got a positive result from his RTPCR test with a CT value of 32.819. He's had a mild cough and sore throat for the past four days, but his oxygen levels are at 99. I'm trying to figure out what this CT value of 32 means. Does it suggest a mild infection, or should we be more concerned about a greater level of infection?

Given your age, lifestyle, and symptoms, possible causes of mild chest pain include:
- Musculoskeletal issues: Strained muscles or costochondritis (inflammation of cartilage connecting ribs to breastbone).
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): Stomach acid flowing up into the esophagus, causing chest pain.
- Anxiety or stress: Tension leading to chest discomfort.
- Cardiovascular issues: Although less likely given your lifestyle, it's essential to rule out conditions like hypertension, high cholesterol, or cardiac arrhythmias.
Consult a cardiologist or a primary care physician for a thorough evaluation, including:
- Physical examination
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Blood tests (e.g., lipid profile, cardiac enzymes)
- Imaging tests (e.g., echocardiogram, stress test) if necessary
Don't hesitate to seek medical attention if you experience:
- Severe chest pain
- Shortness of breath
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Pain radiating to your arms, neck, or jaw

View allI'm dealing with a cold and a throat infection for the past two days. I'm taking Chestin Cold and Ambroxol cough syrup from my local pharmacy, but my cold hasn't improved and my throat pain is actually worse. Is this normal, or should I go see a doctor?
That could be Pharyngitis, need a course of antibiotics and consume warm foods and also do salt water gargling, visit ENT doctor for evaluation and appropriate management

I've just received a negative COVID test result, which is a huge relief, but I'm unsure about how long I should continue taking my Zincovit tablets. Is it necessary to keep taking them for a set period even after testing negative, or can I stop now? Would love any guidance on this!
Typically, Zincovit tablets, which support immune function, can be continued for 1-2 weeks after recovering from COVID-19,

I'm really worried about some health issues I've been having lately. Over the past few weeks, I've lost weight pretty quickly, dropping from 81.2kg on January 1st to 73.3kg by January 26th. I've also been dealing with nerve pull pain in my chest. I've had tests done like ECG, Echo, CT scan, and X-ray, but nothing's been diagnosed. For a few days, I felt okay, but now I'm dealing with gas, chest pain, a cough, headaches, and the weight loss is still happening. I get tired really easily and had night sweats one night, plus I sometimes get palpitations. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should my next steps be?
do sputum test
