I'm really worried because my lower fibula has been swollen for four days now. I recently broke my tibia and fibula, and when I press on top of my fibula, it hurts. I can walk, but there's a bit of pain. Should I be concerned, and do you think I should see a doctor about it?

View allIt's been 80 days since my tibia surgery where they used plates and nails for both legs. The swelling has gone down but I'm still unsure can I start walking now or do I need to wait longer? I'm worried about putting weight on them too soon.
You should walk now. Continue active non weight bearing mobilisation of knee, ankle and hip. Start with partial weight bearing with walker. Then progress to full weight bearing. Pain relief will be important. Please get the latest xray to see bony union which will decide the weight bearing on the limbs
