I'm really worried because my mom has been using Foracort 400 and Tiova inhalers twice daily for about ten years now, but today she accidentally took Tiova twice instead of once. I'm not sure if she should still take her Foracort as planned or skip it. What should we do?

If your mom has accidentally taken Tiova twice, it's important not to take another dose of Tiova today. She can still take her usual Foracort dose, as long as she hasn't exceeded the recommended limit for either inhaler. If she feels any unusual symptoms like increased heart rate or dizziness, please seek medical advice promptly.

View allMy brother's CT scan shows a COVID pneumonia severity score of 18 out of 25, and it's marked as CORADS 5. He's been on several medications since May 3, 2021, including Nintena 100, Happi D, Wysolone 20, and some antibiotics like Microcef O and Sazidox. Prednisolone seems to be a part of it too, and I'm worried about the combination and if we're missing anything. Could you help me understand if all these meds are right for his condition and if there's anything else we should be doing for him?
Yes ,continue same treatment.

I'm really worried about my dad - he's in the early stages of lung fibrosis after having COVID. Is there any treatment or way to cure lung fibrosis? I've heard of it being difficult to handle, so any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Lung fibrosis, especially in the early stages, can sometimes be managed with medications like antifibrotics (e.g., pirfenidone or nintedanib) to slow progression. It's crucial to follow your doctor's advice, manage any underlying conditions, and focus on pulmonary rehabilitation to improve lung function and quality of life. Regular check-ups are essential.
