I'm really worried because my uvula has been touching my tongue since this morning. I think it's swollen and I'm having a hard time speaking properly. What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

The ENT doctor did a full face x-ray and said one side of my nostril bone is bent and blocking some space, leaving very little room on that side. They gave me 10 days of medicine but I'm worried will the bone go back to normal with just meds or will I need surgery? I feel weak because I can't get enough oxygen through that nostril, what should I do?

It's understandable to be worried about a bent nostril bone and difficulty breathing. It sounds like you may have a deviated septum. While the ENT doctor prescribed medication, it's unlikely the bone will straighten itself back to normal on its own, and you may need surgery. Your ENT doctor will be able to guide you best on your particular case. If you are experiencing significant difficulty breathing, you should consult your ENT doctor again

I've been using Waxonil ear drops because I thought it would help the earwax come out, but the wax just isn't coming out and now it feels like my ears are blocked. What could be happening, and what should I do next?

Yes, in most cases, the loosened ear wax should come out on its own after using Waxonil ear drops. Waxonil ear drops soften ear wax so it can run out naturally without harming the ear. so it will takes some time if your wax is so hard to become soft if after 3-4 days doesnt come consult ent surgeon for wax removal procedure

My daughter needs adenoid and tonsil surgery but I'm confused about the coblation machine. Is it always necessary for these procedures? Also can you suggest hospitals in Bangalore that do this surgery without coblation since our insurance doesn't cover it and the extra cost is quite high - around 9k to 18k in Koramangala hospitals

Coblation surgery for adenoids and tonsils is not always necessary. While it offers benefits like less pain and bleeding, it's not essential for all procedures. You can find hospitals in Bangalore that perform traditional adenoid and tonsil removal without coblation, especially since your insurance doesn't cover it and you're looking to minimize costs
