Bandy Plus is an iron supplement, and its safety during pregnancy or planning for pregnancy depends on several factors.

Safety Considerations

  1. Folic Acid Content: Bandy Plus contains folic acid, which is essential for preventing birth defects during pregnancy.
  2. Iron Content: Iron is crucial for pregnant women, but excessive iron intake can be harmful.

Precautions for Planning Pregnancy

  1. Consult Your Doctor: Inform your doctor about taking Bandy Plus and your plans for pregnancy. They'll advise on the safe dosage and duration.
  2. Monitor Iron Levels: Regularly check your iron levels to avoid excessive intake.
  3. Folic Acid Dosage: Ensure you're not exceeding the recommended folic acid dosage (400-800 mcgday).

Alternative Options

If your doctor recommends alternative iron supplements, consider:

  1. Ferrous sulfate: A commonly prescribed iron supplement.
  2. Ferrous fumarate: Another iron supplement option.

I have a 13.3 mm secretory hyperplastic endometrium and two myomas one anterior subserous 31x24 mm and another posterior panmural 76x68 mm. The myometrial-endometrial interface is intact, and my cervix is normal. There's a 21 mm dominant follicle in my right ovary with a corpus luteum, and my ovaries measure 38x21 mm (right) and 31x17 mm (left). No free fluid in the adnexae, but some in the POD. My doctor is recommending surgery are there any alternatives I can consider?

I took a Plan B pill recently, and now I'm experiencing a lot of pain on the outside of my vagina. It also feels really dry on the outside but not on the inside. Is this normal? Should I be worried or do anything to help with the discomfort?

Plan B contains a high dose of levonorgestrel, a synthetic hormone that can affect your body temporarily. This can cause side effects like vaginal dryness, discomfort, or even irritation in some cases. It's likely that the pain is temporary and related to the hormonal effects of Plan B, but if you have any concerns or if the symptoms don't improve, definitely reach out to your healthcare provider.
