I'm taking HCQS tablets in the morning and at night for synovitis treatment, but I recently noticed during a routine blood test that my iron levels are low. Is there a particular iron supplement I can take alongside HCQS without worrying about any interactions?

You can consider taking ferrous sulfate or ferrous fumarate iron supplements, which are generally well-tolerated and less likely to interact with HCQS

View allI'm having a lot of pain in my right foot, and it turns out my uric acid level is at 8.6. I'm worried because it seems to be causing the pain. What are some ways I can lower my uric acid levels and manage this discomfort better?
To control uric acid levels and manage the pain in your right foot, you can start by making some lifestyle changes. Avoid foods high in purines such as red meat, organ meats, and certain types of seafood. Drink plenty of water to help flush out uric acid from your body. Additionally, your doctor may prescribe medication such as Allopurinol at a dosage of 100-300mg daily to help lower uric acid levels. It is important to follow your doctor's recommendations closely and attend follow-up appointments to monitor your progress.

My mom has severe osteoarthritis and the doctor recommended knee replacement but we're hesitant to go for surgery. Is there any medicine that can help manage the pain without relying on painkillers? I heard about M1V711 but not sure if it's still approved and available. Also, can Cartigen Duo provide any relief for her condition? Looking for alternatives to reduce her pain.

I've been dealing with this constant pain in my ribs, on both sides, but it's worse on the left. It's been going on for the last couple of years, and the pain comes and goessome days it's really bad, and others it's not there at all. I'm 31, weigh 104, and I'm about 5'7". I'll admit, I don't have the healthiest lifestyle, and I used to smoke. I've done some tests like a 2D echo, a stress test, an endoscopy, and a chest X-ray, and everything came back normal. My blood pressure is a bit high, and I have thyroid issues, but all my other blood work looks good, except for some cholesterol issues. I'm just trying to figure out what might be causing this rib pain. Any ideas on what could be going on or what I should do next?
