I'm trying to figure out how much it might cost to have an oral fibroma surgically removed. It's on the inside of my cheek and developed because my braces keep rubbing against it. Any idea what the cost could be?

The cost of surgically removing an oral fibroma can range from 5,000 to 50,000 or more, depending on factors like location, surgeon's expertise, hospital or clinic fees, and the complexity of the procedure, and in your case, since the fibroma is caused by friction from braces, your orthodontist or oral surgeon may recommend a simple excision procedure under local anesthesia.

View allI noticed a white patch on the right side of my tongue that extends to the floor of my mouth, about 2.5 cm in size. I saw an oncologist who recommended laser surgery costing around 10k with admission, but another oncologist suggested excision with frozen section and a 2-day hospital stay for about 2 lakhs, plus extracting my lower 8th tooth. I'm confused should I go with an oncologist or an ENT specialist for this?
ENT or oncologist both manage such lesions; decision depends on biopsy results, margins, and surgical expertise required.

My wisdom tooth on the right side is causing extreme pain, and my dentist recommended extraction. Are there any other treatment options besides surgery? I'm really worried about going under the knife is there a way to manage this without removing the tooth?
A detailed evaluation will help decide the best course of action.

Is it normal to have ear pain more than a week after a tooth extraction done through minor surgery? The discomfort hasn't gone away and I'm a bit worried about it
While ear pain after a tooth extraction is common, especially in the lower jaw, it typically resolves within a week as the extraction site heals. If your ear pain persists beyond a week and hasn't improved or even worsened, it's a sign to consult your dentist or oral surgeon
