I'm trying to figure out what the medicine department at a hospital like AIIMS or RML is all about. What do they specialize in exactly? If someone has a stomach ache, is it okay for them to go to the medicine department?

The doctor suggested stopping his TB pills for a week. They're giving him Taxim injections for the next 5 to 6 days along with some other injections. Do you think this break in TB treatment is something we should be concerned about?
Yes, it is the side-effects of anti-tubercular therapy. Pls continue inj taxim for 5 days.Post antibiotic course ATT can be started .

I'm really worried because I've been dealing with this acid reflux ever since I quit smoking about a month ago. Its become quite uncomfortable, and sometimes I even have trouble breathing, which gets worse when I try to exercise. Im not sure if there's any medication I could take to ease these symptoms, or if it's important that I visit a hospital right now. Any advice would be really appreciated.
Probable diagnosis is Gerd, patient is advised pan d ,orally.once daily for 14 days before food..Avoid spicy foods.
