I'm really worried because during dinner last night, I suddenly started vomiting with a lot of pain in my throat. I've been struggling for years with not having a daily bowel movement. It's every two days at best, and when it happens, it's really hard. Why is this happening and what can I do to have more regular and easier motions?

It sounds like you may be experiencing constipation. I recommend trying a stool softener like Colace or a laxative such as Miralax to help with your bowel movements. Additionally, increasing your fiber intake and staying hydrated can also help alleviate constipation.

I've been having pain when passing stool for the past month and using sucral ano ointment but it's not helping much. There's no blood but I'm worried - are there other medications I can try or is surgery my only option now?
