I'm trying to make sense of an angiography report, and it's got me a bit worried. It mentions a "LAD type 3 vessel proximal LAD 90 and mid LAD 90 stenosis" and "distal LAD minor plaques." Theres also talk of an "Intermediate 70 stenosis" and "LCX codominant system ostial 80 stenosis." Apparently, the LMCA is normal except for minor plaque and diagonals have non-obstructive plaque, while the marginals and PDAPLV are normal. The report concludes with "Final Diagnosis CAD Effort angina two vessel disease normal LV function. What does this all mean, and what should be the next steps? Is it something super serious?

View allMy dad's experiencing some angina pain, and we went to see a doctor at Sgpgi. They recommended an angiography, and it turns out there's an 80% blockage in each of his arteries. What does this mean for his health, and what should we consider doing next?
The recommended medication for managing angina pain due to blockage in the arteries is Nitroglycerin. It helps to relax and widen blood vessels, improving blood flow to the heart. Additionally, your father may also be prescribed antiplatelet medications like Aspirin to prevent blood clots, and statins like Atorvastatin to lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of further blockages.

I'm having chest pain that's really concerning me. When I press the center of my chest with my finger, it hurts, and sometimes I feel pain on the left and right sides too, but other times there's no pain at all. Even when I cough, it's like the pain flares up in my chest. Lately, I've also been experiencing some back pain. I have had diabetes for the past 10 years and have been on Novamix 30 insulin. Could you suggest any medication or remedies for relief?
