I'm a vegetarian and I don't live at home, so it's tough for me to get a proper diet. Because of this, I'm worried I'm not getting enough vitamins. I started taking Zincovit. A family doctor once suggested I take a B-complex vitamin since I use antacid pills regularly. Is it safe to take B-complex vitamins alongside my antacid, and if so, could you recommend a good brand of B-complex that I should be looking into?

View allI'm wondering if it's safe to take multivitamin tablets every day without checking with a doctor first. Also, is it necessary to do any blood tests before starting on multivitamins? Just a bit concerned about whether it's really okay to self-prescribe these or if there's something I should watch out for.
