I'm wondering if there's anything wrong with taking multivitamin supplements without a prescription. I'm an IT professional and generally keep a balanced diet, steering clear of oily junk foods and focusing on protein and veggies. But I'm concerned that I might not be getting all my vitamin requirements from my food. Would taking a multivitamin daily fill in those gaps?

A painful growth on your breast can be concerning.
Possible causes:
- Cyst or abscess: A fluid-filled cyst or abscess can cause pain and tenderness.
- Fibroadenoma: A non-cancerous growth that can cause pain, especially if it's pressed or touched.
- Breast infection: An infection like mastitis can cause pain, swelling, and tenderness.
- Hormonal changes: Hormonal fluctuations during menstruation, pregnancy, or menopause can cause breast tenderness.
What to do:
- Consult a doctor: Schedule an appointment with your primary care physician or a breast specialist.
- Get a proper diagnosis: Your doctor will examine the growth, take a medical history, and may order imaging tests like a mammogram or ultrasound.
- Follow treatment recommendations: Depending on the diagnosis, your doctor may recommend treatment options like antibiotics, drainage, or surgical removal.
Remember:
- Don't self-diagnose: Avoid self-diagnosing or trying to treat the growth yourself.
- Monitor changes: Keep an eye on the growth and report any changes to your doctor.
Early evaluation and treatment can help alleviate symptoms and prevent complications.

View allI'm dealing with a fever that goes up to 102.5 in the evenings and nights, but it disappears by morning. My blood report shows that my RBC, WBC, and platelets are normal. I've been taking some meds: Paracip 650, Cefix 200 DT, and Pantosec D, twice a day for the last couple of days. I felt fine during the day today, but now the fever's coming back. I'm also feeling a bit weak because of the fever. What should I do?
It seems like you may be experiencing a recurring fever despite taking the medications. Since your blood report shows normal levels of RBC, WBC, and platelets, the fever may be due to an underlying infection. I recommend adding an antibiotic like Azithromycin your current treatment regimen. Additionally, you can take a fever reducer like Crocin 650mg for relief from fever and weakness. Make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. If the fever persists or worsens, please follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation.
