I've been keeping an eye on my blood pressure, and it's measuring at 146 over 95. I'm starting to get a bit worried this might be a sign of hypertension. Should I be considering medication to get it under control, or would it be better to consult with a general physician first to figure out the best course of action?

I've been taking mefenamic acid and co-amoxicillin for my tonsillitis, and it's been four days. The pain and swelling in my tonsils have gone down a lot. I'm wondering if it's okay to stop the mefenamic acid now and just continue with the co-amoxicillin?

Antibiotics typically eliminate the infection in about 10 days. Symptoms usually improve within 2 or 3 days after starting antibiotics. so continue treatment as advised by your doctor

I'm dealing with both dengue and typhoid right now, and I've noticed that I have to pee all the time. Is that normal? I had some really high fevers with shivering and chills, but they're a bit better now. It's weird because when I go to the bathroom, it doesn't hurt at all. Could this mean I might have a urinary tract infection, or is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Frequent urination in your case is more likely due to the infections (dengue and typhoid) causing inflammation and irritation in the urinary tract, rather than a UTI or pregnancy; however, to rule out other conditions, consult your healthcare provider, who may recommend a urine test to check for any underlying infections or abnormalities.

I've been dealing with a running nose and fever for the last few days, and now I've got a sore throat and cough since last night. These seem like symptoms of viral fever, right? Can you recommend any homemade remedies? The weather here is terrible, so I can't get to a doctor.

I recommend taking over-the-counter medications such as acetaminophen for fever and sore throat. You can also try using honey and lemon for your sore throat. Additionally, steam inhalation can help with your runny nose and cough. Make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest.
