I'm worried about my smoking habit. I've been smoking 10-15 cigarettes a day for the past 10 years and really want to quit. I tried nicotine patches, but they didn't work long-term, and I ended up smoking again. What treatment should I consider? Should I go for homeopathy or allopathy with minimal or no side effects?

View allI'm having asthma since I was a child, and for the past three days, I've been struggling to breathe properly. I've been using my Asthalin inhaler, but today I tried some Asthalin syrup and my breathlessness got worse. Now my hands are shaking, and my heart is racing. What should I do?

I'm really worried about my dadhe's 53 and caught COVID on March 30th. He had a fever for four days, and after talking to the doctor, we did an HRCT of his chest. It showed a mild infection with about 10-15% of lung involvement. The doc gave him some medicine called Ferocort and Syncrobreath, plus a cough syrup. But the thing is, he's still coughing a lot. I'm just wondering, how long do you think it'll take for the cough to get better?
for cough to reduce it will take 1 week

I'm really worried because I've been having an irritated throat with a lot of coughing. Even scarier, I'm noticing some blood coming up when I cough. What could be causing this, and should I be concerned?
The presence of blood in your cough could be due to irritation of the throat or respiratory tract. I recommend you take a cough syrup like Benadryl Cough Formula (dosage: 10ml three times a day) to help soothe your throat and reduce the coughing. Additionally, you can use a throat lozenge like Strepsils (dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours) to help with the irritation. If the symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a doctor for further evaluation and management.
