I'm worried about a whistling sound I hear when I breathe, along with a cough. It seems to happen when I'm laughing or doing Pranayama. Could this be something serious? What might be causing this, and should I be concerned?

I'm really concerned about my asthma. I've had it for 30 years, but in the last two years, I've been experiencing this wheezing issue repeatedly. Every time I use the nebuliser or steroids, I feel better, but once I stop taking the steroids, the problem just comes back again. What should I do about this?
