I've recently had an MRI and a sleep study, and my doctor started me on Leverage 500. They also mentioned using APAP or BiPAP if needed. I'm a bit confused about when I should actually start using APAP or if I should switch to BiPAP. How do I know which one is necessary for me? Can you help clarify this?

I've been dealing with this morning cold that lasts for 12 hours every day for about a year now. Initially, I thought it was just a dust allergy, but it's been getting worse. Could it be something else? What should I do?
You may be experiencing allergic rhinitis. I recommend trying an antihistamine such as Cetirizine (brand name Zyrtec) 10mg once daily in the morning to help alleviate your symptoms. Additionally, using a nasal corticosteroid spray like Fluticasone (brand name Flonase) 1-2 sprays in each nostril daily can also be beneficial in reducing nasal congestion and inflammation. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it would be advisable to consult with an allergist for further evaluation and management.

I'm really struggling with a bad cough for the past three days and have been taking marzon allerfix tablets and Reswas cough syrup, but I can't shake off the chest congestion. I smoke around 20 cigarettes a day, so I'm worried that's contributing to it. Is there a connection between my smoking and this congestion, and is there any way I can treat my lungs or cleanse them?
yes to stop smoking
