Is it okay to use lacrigel ocular lubricant three times daily instead of regular eye drops after PRK surgery 6 months ago also is it safe for long-term use

I've had glasses for 10 years with an eye power of 2 and 2.5. I really want to reduce my dependency on them but don't want to go for surgery.
