It's been 8 months since I broke my femur, and while the bone hasn't completely healed, a rod was inserted. I'm really worried about whether I'll be able to walk without a limp. I'm scared even though there's no pain right now. I've been using a stick to walk, and the doctor mentioned it might take 2 more months. Do you think I'll be able to walk without limping?

I have a bony avulsion fracture of my PCL with a bone fragment that's mildly displaced posterosuperiorly and measures around 16x15x10 mm. All my other ligaments are intact. Will this heal with just 4 weeks in a plaster cast or do I need surgery for it?
