It's been over 120 days since my surgery and I'm still using an elbow crutch for support while walking. I feel a bit of pain in my knee, maybe from the implant, and some discomfort in the area where I had the fracture. Is this normal? I don't feel confident enough to walk without support yet. How much walking practice is safe at this stage, and what exercises can I do to build strength so I can walk without support soon? I've attached my x-ray from March 25 for reference.

I recommend starting with physiotherapy and painkillers to manage your condition. If there's no significant improvement after a reasonable period, we can then consider surgical options.

I'm really worried about my knee. I hurt it while walking and now I can't seem to stand up straight on just one knee. The pain is intense, like a shock every time I try to walk after the injury. I did see an orthopedist who just twisted my leg a bit and I felt better for a while, but once I got home, the pain came back even worse. It's like a sharp jerk in my knee whenever I move. I'm freaking out about whether this is serious or if I might even need surgery. The thing is, I'm not in a good financial position and I'm really scared about what this means for my life and career. Could you please tell me what might be going on?

The recurring shock-like pain and instability in your knee suggest a possible ligament sprain or meniscal injury, which may not necessarily require surgery; however, to determine the extent of the injury and appropriate treatment, consider undergoing an MRI scan and consulting an orthopedic specialist again, who may recommend physical therapy, bracing, or pain management options to alleviate your symptoms and improve knee function

I've been struggling with really tight hamstrings and can barely move my back properly are there any good physiologists who can help? I'm considering hamstring lengthening surgery but don't know much about how it works or what recovery looks like afterward. What should I expect if I go through with it?

The operation is done through a small cut in the skin. Through this small opening, little cuts are made into the tight muscles so they can be stretched and made longer.

What's the best treatment for a complete ACL tear? I've heard surgery is the only option but I'm not sure I've attached my MRI report for your opinion

Complete ACL tears usually require surgery for active individuals—please upload MRI for a better assessment.
