I've been dealing with acid reflux for a while now, and its been quite uncomfortable. Im feeling a bit better since I started treatment last month, but I'm worried about the long-term effects. Does having acid reflux increase my risk of cancer? Im also really curious if there's a way to permanently cure acid reflux or if its something Ill have to manage forever. Could you shed some light on this?

I had a lap appendectomy a while back in June 2021, and recently I've been getting this pain on the right side of my abdomen, back, and even my groin area.
