I've been dealing with acidity for a couple of years now, and lately, I've been noticing mucus in my throat and sometimes even shortness of breath. When I try to take a deep breath, I get dizzy and feel like my head is spinning. Could this be a sign of something serious with my lungs? I'm really worried about it. What should I do?

I'm 23 years old and recently quit smoking about three months ago. Could you help me figure out what might be causing this and which type of doctor I should consult?
