I've been dealing with a dry cough for the last six months, and it's really starting to worry me. I've tried more than 10 different cough syrups, but nothing seems to work. It gets so bad at night that I can't sleep because of the coughing. What's strange is, I don't have a runny nose. Could you give me some advice on what might be causing this and how I might be able to treat it?

Im sorry youve been dealing with this persistent dry cough for so long. Since over-the-counter cough syrups havent helped, its important to get evaluated by a doctor to rule out conditions like GERD, asthma, or postnasal drip. A thorough examination and possibly some tests will help get to the root cause and find the right treatment to bring you relief.

View allI've been trying to quit smoking and managed to stop for a month, but I slipped back into having one cigarette a couple of times a week. Now whenever I do smoke, I feel this strong chest tightness and discomfort for a couple of days, and even hear a cracking sound in my trachea when I'm doing normal stretches. It's kinda freaking me out since I'm really trying to switch to a healthier lifestyle. Back when I was in the US, I used to take supplements like Glutathione, NAC, and Omega 3. Do you think those might help with what I'm experiencing, or should I be worried about something else?

I'm really concerned about my mother. She's been diagnosed with pneumonia, and she's having a lot of trouble breathing. She's also been struggling with diabetes for about 15 years now and has thyroid issues, which makes everything more complex. I came across some of your advice, and it really struck me how optimistic and caring you are. I'm hoping you can guide us on how to tackle this lung infection effectively. What would you recommend for her situation?
