I've been dealing with a fever for the past three days, along with a bit of a cold and a headache. My eyes hurt, and I can't seem to get any sleep because of it. What could be causing these symptoms, and what can I do to feel better?

If the area around your eyes and face is painful, you may be suffering from a bout of sinusitis. Visit a physician to get a prescription for some antibiotics, nasal decongestants and some multivitamins. You should also try home remedies like steam inhalation, hot compress on your sinuses, use of a neti pot for nasal irrigation, and use of a humidifier for your bedroom. Drink plenty of fluids and take rest.

View allI accidentally took Telma 40 mg instead of my usual omeprazole. What should I expect in terms of side effects? I'm a bit worried about any potential reactions.
In place of omeprazole, taking telma 40 mg can lead to potential side effects such as dizziness, headache, cough, diarrhea, and back pain. It is important to monitor for any signs of adverse reactions and consult your healthcare provider if any concerns arise. Keep monitoring your blood pressure, and rush to the hospital if it falls below 9060 mmhg.

I've been dealing with a cold, runny nose, and a slight fever since this morning. Now I've lost my sense of smell and taste. Should I be worried? Does this sound like COVID or just a regular flu? And how long might it take for my taste and smell to come back? Would love some advice.
Losing smell and taste, combined with cold, runny nose, and slight fever, could be indicative of COVID-19, but it's also possible with other viral infections like the common flu; to determine the cause, consider getting a COVID-19 test, rest, stay hydrated, and use over-the-counter medications to alleviate symptoms; your sense of smell and taste should return once the infection resolves, usually within 7-14 days.

I got my first vaccine shot on May 5th. I noticed some swelling at the injection site right away, and the pain was manageable for four days. But today, my entire arm is really hurting, and it's become unbearable. I resumed taking my alprazolam today - could this pain be because of that?
