Question

I've been dealing with indigestion because of gallstones, with the biggest one measuring 7.5mm. A lot of people are telling me to get my gallbladder removed surgically, but I'm not sure about that. Some are suggesting Ayurveda instead. Is there any way to treat gallstones properly with medications alone, without needing surgery?

I'm 50 and used to be addicted to alcohol, but I quit completely a year ago. For the past three months, I've been dealing with loose motions about 4 to 5 times a day. I saw a doctor and did all sorts of tests like ultrasound, blood, and stool tests. Everything came back normal no kidney issues, no diabetes, just a minor fatty liver. My hemoglobin levels are low. Could low hemoglobin be the reason for these loose motions? Also, I've been on high blood pressure medications for 25 years. I'm not sure what to do next or if there are other tests I should consider. Any advice?

I've been dealing with idiopathic slow transit constipation and IBS with constipation for over 10 years and I'm not sure if they're the same thing or different. My symptoms are constant bloating, indigestion, abdominal pain, and daily constipation. I've tried soaked raisins, drinking lots of water, eating fruits and vegetables, and even a low FODMAP diet, but nothing helps. I'm only able to pass stool with digital evacuation and it's affecting my work and stress levels. Is surgery an option for me at this point?
