Question
I've been dealing with this issue for the last two years where I get this anal discharge once or twice a day. It's like a mild, transparent mucus with an odor, but it's not stool. It mostly happens after I've eaten or when I've exercised. It's not flowing a lot, just stays there, and doesnt stain my clothes, but it's making the area irritated and itchy. And because of the itching, Ive had skin abscesses on my buttock area about 3-4 times in the past year and a half. There's no pain, no constipation, and my bowel movements are regular. What could be causing this, and is there any medicine or treatment I should consider?

to determine the underlying cause of the anal discharge, which may be related to conditions like anal fistula, rectal prolapse, or gastrointestinal infections; in the meantime, maintain good anal hygiene, avoid scratching the area, consult gastroenterologist
