I've been dealing with neck pain for a couple of months now. Sometimes it eases up, but then it just comes back after a few days. At first, I thought maybe it was from sleeping in a bad position. I'm really starting to get concerned. Any idea what's going on or what I should do about it?

For relief, you can try taking acetaminophen (Tylenol) 500mg every 6 hours as needed for pain. Additionally, you can apply a topical pain relief cream like diclofenac gel to the affected area 3-4 times a day. Make sure to improve your sleeping habits and maintain good posture during the day. If the pain persists, consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.

View allI've had low back pain for 8 months and an MRI showed a disc bulge, but the doctors haven't explained what caused it. Painkillers don't help, and I can't sit or work for more than an hour without pain. Even lifting slightly heavy things is tough. Do I really need surgery for this? I'm worried about steroid injections because of side effects like weight gain what else can I do to get back to normal life?
Surgery is not always needed; structured physiotherapy and core strengthening can help avoid injections and regain function.

I'm really worried about my wife. She recently had an X-ray of her lumbosacral spine, and they found she has sacralization of L5S1. Her back pain isnt constant, but when it does flare up, it's really intense and hard for her to handle. What kind of treatment would you recommend for something like this?
For your wife's sacralization of L5-S1, consider conservative management with physical therapy, yoga, or Pilates to strengthen core muscles, improve flexibility, and reduce pain; pain management with medications like NSAIDs or muscle relaxants as needed; and lifestyle modifications, such as maintaining a healthy weight, improving posture, and avoiding heavy lifting or bending; if symptoms persist or worsen, consult an orthopedic specialist or spine surgeon to discuss potential surgical options.

my 14 year old daughter has a clavicle fracture - is the sling and brace from the doctor enough or will she need surgery for proper healing
For most clavicle fractures in kids, a sling is sufficient; surgery is rare unless displaced or overlapping significantly.
