I've been dealing with a persistent cough for the past month. I went to see a doctor who's been in practice for 21 years, and after some blood tests, including one for eosinophilia, I was told it's chronic bronchitis. I'm a bit worried about what medications to take and am really curious about any home remedies that might help. Could you give me some advice?

View allI recently had a TB test and the results mentioned something called "tenting of the left hemidiaphragm." I'm curious and a bit worried about what might have caused this. Is it something serious, and could it be a sign of TB?
Tenting of the left hemidiaphragm can be caused by various factors such as inflammation, injury, or infection. While it may not directly indicate tuberculosis (TB), it could suggest other conditions affecting the diaphragm. It's important to follow up with your healthcare provider for a thorough evaluation to determine the cause.

I had a fever last week and also a cough for about three days. For the past three mornings, I've been noticing blood in my sputum for about 5 to 10 minutes, then nothing the rest of the day. I still have an occasional cough. Should I be worried about this? I've attached my chest X-ray and CBC. Could you take a look and let me know?
The presence of blood in your sputum, known as hemoptysis, can have various causes such as infections, inflammation, or more serious conditions like pneumonia, bronchitis, or even pulmonary embolism. Considering your symptoms and test results, I recommend a course of antibiotics to treat any underlying infection. Additionally, an antitussive medication can help with your cough. It is crucial to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.
